I learned how to knit this week from my mom! Here is a photo of my first knitted scarf. I finally understand why knitting during the winter is so gratifying

Two Books

I made my first two hardbound books yesterday.

Intaglios and an Art Show

The Cheap Art Holiday Show raised about 350 dollars for Art Guild. And I turned in my printmaking portfolio yesterday for finals. This intaglio was done on a beat up, left over plate from years ago. It's from a photo of my dad being held by his grandfather.

This past week I've begun sewing tote bags as a way to use the small collection of cloth Bread and Puppet badges I've accumulated through their visits here. I really like this one:

More printing and a kitten

Finished up a few rounds of printing this week in lithography and started intaglio printing for the first time. Here is an image of the re-worked print of Ryan peeling an orange, along with a new litho and my first intaglio proof—which I’m sure will be reworked for a while. Also a picture of Peel in the morning, stretching.
